WDS follows a proven Data Migration process based on many years of experience. As technology changes, it becomes required to move data from old storage types, formats, data types or systems to a new one.
Our strategy is to offer several options for the migration of source data to the target database and ensure we follow the migration timeline. As part of the migration process, we will implement efficient and cost-effective methods to access source data and the target database. Our data migration strategy will include submitting a draft migration plan for client review and comment within an agreed time. We will incorporate comments and submit a final data migration plan for client approval.
To ensure data quality, reduce ambiguity and data redundancy, WDS will follow a process including a plan for data conversion, creating conversion specifications, transforming data, aggregate data load, moving data, establishing and verifying relationships, and implementing required indexes for better performance.
For Data Reporting and Visualization, our experienced database engineers will work closely with you to determine your reporting requirements including Ad Hoc Reports, Custom Reports, and Enterprise Reports. We have experience using industry leading tools, such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Power BI, Tableau, and JackBe Presto.
